1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards for acceptable use of The Smile Grid platform. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. Permitted Uses
The Service may only be used for lawful purposes directly related to dental, general practice and medical clinic operations supported by the tenant’s subscribed services, including:
- Patient registration, scheduling, and queue management
- Clinical documentation and treatment planning
- Multi-clinic operational management
- Internal communications between clinical staff
- Reporting and analytics for your clinic group
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use the Service to:
3.1 Illegal or harmful activities
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including Indian IT laws and data protection legislation
- Store, upload, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or fraudulent
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
3.2 Security violations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or network
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without prior written permission
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service for other users
3.3 Data misuse
- Use the platform to process data outside the scope of dental, general practice and medical clinic operations supported by the tenant’s subscribed services without authorisation
- Extract, scrape, or harvest data from the platform for unauthorised purposes
- Store personal data of individuals who have not consented to have their data processed
3.4 Misrepresentation
- Impersonate any person, company, or government authority
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation in communications through the platform
4. Content Standards
Any content entered into the platform (patient notes, communications, documents) must:
- Be accurate to the best of the user's knowledge
- Comply with applicable medical documentation standards
- Not contain discriminatory, offensive, or irrelevant material
- Not be used for purposes other than legitimate clinical operations
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of this AUP
- Remove content that violates this AUP
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
Violations may also constitute a breach of the Terms of Use, entitling the Company to terminate the subscription.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
